Tama Zoo's Not So Wild(Life)


A day trip to Tama Zoo. Just a couple of days ago. Here is a sleepy koala, a present from Australia to Japan. For much of this I used my Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED lens. My main objective was to capture the animals without it really looking like it's a zoo, or at least do so in an interesting way- see for yourself how successful (or not!) I was... Posted by Picasa

A couple of friends joined me- AJ and Marcus- you can see them on the left. A lot of people came to see the Sakura. the zooms and close-ups, by the way, were taken with my Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED lens. It was my first time to try it on digital and I'm pretty happy with what it can do! Posted by Picasa
