This cool soba is a very simple, subtle food, just the noodles with a delicate taste, dipped in sauce. Beside it is the tempura, shrimp and vegetables lightly fried and crunchy, with just a dab of salt to bring out the flavour. With the gardens outside, the delicious tastes and these aesthetic surroundings, it was a truly wonderful meal.
