Portugal Life - Porto Airport

In direct contrast to all of this was the high-tech airport of Porto, where I flew into. As a sign of changing times, Portugal may well end up being a centrally important place in Europe with all the progress being made. I fine such quickly-developing places much more vibrant than those just experiencing small upgrades.

There seem to be a great joy in innovation here and they may be spared the comparatively brutal innovations of the 'modern' era, going straight from traditional to high-tech post-modernism. It should be remembered just how poor much of Portugal is, though and that the likes of this 'showcase' airport is unlikely to change that in itself.
